Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 4 cups Water (For brewing tea)
  • 4 bags Black tea (Or your favorite tea; steep for 5-7 minutes)
  • 1 Ripe mango (Peeled pitted, and chopped (or 1 cup mango puree))
  • 2 tbsp Honey (Adjust to taste optional)
  • 1/2 Lemon (Juice of 1/2 lemon for brightness; optional)
  • Ice cubes (For serving)
  • Optional Fresh mint leaves (For garnish)

Instructions

Brew the Tea:

  1. Bring 4 cups of water to a boil.
  2. Remove from heat and steep the tea bags for 5–7 minutes.
  3. Discard the tea bags and allow the tea to cool to room temperature.

Prepare the Mango Puree:

  1. In a blender, combine the chopped ripe mango (or mango puree) with the honey and lemon juice.
  2. Blend until smooth. Taste and adjust sweetness if needed.

Combine and Chill:

  1. In a large pitcher, mix the cooled tea with the mango puree.
  2. Stir well to combine, then refrigerate for at least 10 minutes to chill and allow the flavors to meld.

Serve:

  1. Fill glasses with ice cubes and pour the mango iced tea over the ice.
  2. Garnish with fresh mint leaves if desired, and serve immediately.

Notes

Notes

  • For a smoother texture, strain the mango puree through a fine sieve before mixing with the tea.
  • You can substitute black tea with green tea for a milder flavor.
  • Adjust the honey and lemon juice to suit your taste preferences.
  • This iced tea is best served chilled and makes a refreshing, low-calorie beverage perfect for any occasion.

Enjoy your Mango Iced Tea—a fruity, refreshing twist on classic iced tea that’s both easy to make and wonderfully tropical!
