Scale
- 1 1/2 - 2 pounds flank steak
- 1/2 cup olive oil
- 1/3 cup reduced sodium soy sauce
- 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 1/2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon onion powder
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 1 teaspoon dried dill weed
- 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon dried rosemary
- 1/2 teaspoon ground coriander
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the olive oil, soy sauce, balsamic vinegar, lemon juice, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, and Dijon mustard.
- Add the onion powder, garlic powder, paprika, black pepper, red pepper flakes, dill, oregano, rosemary, and coriander. Whisk until fully incorporated.
- Place the flank steak in a resealable plastic bag or shallow dish and pour the marinade over it, ensuring it’s completely coated. Marinate in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours.
- Preheat the grill to high heat and clean the grates.
- Remove the steak from the marinade, let excess drip off, and discard the marinade. Grill for 4-7 minutes per side, or until desired doneness is reached.
- Transfer to a cutting board and let rest for 10 minutes before slicing against the grain.
Notes
Aim for at least 2 hours of marinating for best flavor. Be careful not to slice with the grain for maximum tenderness.
