Description

A tender, juicy, and flavor-packed flank steak marinated with a vibrant blend of ingredients for an unforgettable taste.

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 1 1/2 - 2 pounds flank steak
  • 1/2 cup olive oil
  • 1/3 cup reduced sodium soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1 teaspoon dried dill weed
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried rosemary
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground coriander

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, whisk together the olive oil, soy sauce, balsamic vinegar, lemon juice, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, and Dijon mustard.
  2. Add the onion powder, garlic powder, paprika, black pepper, red pepper flakes, dill, oregano, rosemary, and coriander. Whisk until fully incorporated.
  3. Place the flank steak in a resealable plastic bag or shallow dish and pour the marinade over it, ensuring it’s completely coated. Marinate in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours.
  4. Preheat the grill to high heat and clean the grates.
  5. Remove the steak from the marinade, let excess drip off, and discard the marinade. Grill for 4-7 minutes per side, or until desired doneness is reached.
  6. Transfer to a cutting board and let rest for 10 minutes before slicing against the grain.

Notes

Aim for at least 2 hours of marinating for best flavor. Be careful not to slice with the grain for maximum tenderness.
