This One-Pan Creamy Spicy Shrimp with Broccoli is a 20-minute meal that packs a punch. Juicy shrimp and tender broccoli are tossed in a rich, spicy garlic Parmesan cream sauce for a low-carb, high-protein dinner.

Ingredients

Shrimp & Seasoning

  • 1 lb large shrimp (peeled and deveined)
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 0.5 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper
  • 1 pinch salt (to taste)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil (for searing)

Vegetables & Sauce

  • 3 cups broccoli florets (fresh)
  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 0.5 cup broth (chicken or vegetable)
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 0.33 cup Parmesan cheese (grated)
  • 1 tsp chili paste (or hot sauce)

Instructions

  1. Season Shrimp: Toss shrimp with paprika, cayenne, black pepper, and salt.
  2. Sear Shrimp: Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear shrimp for 1-2 minutes per side until pink. Remove and set aside.
  3. Cook Broccoli: Lower heat to medium. Sauté garlic for 30 seconds. Add broccoli and broth, cover, and steam for 3-4 minutes.
  4. Make Sauce: Remove lid. Stir in heavy cream, chili paste, and Parmesan. Simmer for 2-3 minutes until thickened.
  5. Combine and Serve: Return shrimp to skillet, toss to coat, and cook for 1 minute to warm through. Garnish and serve.

Notes

Do not overcook the shrimp during the initial sear; they will finish cooking when added back to the hot sauce.
