Equipment

  • Freezer-Safe Container
  • Blender

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups white wine sauvignon blanc or another crisp dry white
  • 1 cup strawberries
  • 1 cup pineapple chopped
  • 1/4 cup lemonade
  • 1/4 cup vodka
  • 2 tbsp triple sec
  • 2 tbsp sugar or more, to taste

Instructions

  • Combine: Combine all of the ingredients in a freezer-safe container.
  • Freeze: Freeze overnight, or until solid. It won't freeze all the way through because of the alcohol, expect a firm, slushy texture.
  • Blend and Serve: Spoon the frozen mixture into a blender and blend until smooth and slushy. Pour into glasses and serve right away.

Notes

Use a wide, shallow freezer-safe container so the mixture freezes evenly and is easy to scoop. A slushy (not solid) texture is correct thanks to the alcohol. Blend just until smooth so it stays thick and frosty. Taste before freezing and adjust the sugar since fruit sweetness varies. Too thick? Add a splash of lemonade or wine. Too thin? Refreeze briefly and blend again. Chop the pineapple small so it blends smoothly. Swap in mango, peach, or mixed berries. Keeps a few weeks covered in the freezer, scoop and blend fresh per serving. Contains alcohol: 21+ only, please enjoy responsibly.
